\nPosition Summary:<\/b>\n
\nRK is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Quantity Surveyor to oversee all building and civil engineering projects. This role is critical to ensuring smooth project execution through close coordination with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders. The Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in tracking quantities, timelines, and progress, ensuring that works are delivered in accordance with technical specifications and project schedules. Accurate documentation, reporting, and proactive issue resolution will be central to the success of this role.\n

\n Key Roles and Responsibilities<\/b>\n
\n\u2022 Follow up on project progress to ensure timely completion in line with the approved schedule.
\n\u2022 Ensure proper implementation of works according to specifications and required quality standards.
\n\u2022 Prepare and maintain accurate project reports, site documentation, and records of executed quantities.
\n\u2022 Calculate and verify executed quantities on site, ensuring they match actual implementation, approved drawings, and project specifications.
\n\u2022 Coordinate with the design team to analyze architectural and service drawings.
\n\u2022 Prepare BOQs (Bills of Quantities) based on specification sheets provided by the sales team.
\n\u2022 Identify and resolve discrepancies between BOQs, drawings, specifications, and contract conditions.
\n\u2022 Manage the valuation of work completed and handle claims and variations.
\n\u2022 Prepare interim and final valuations, variation orders, and site claims.
\n\u2022 Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering exercises.
\n\u2022 Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize project outcomes and achieve value for money.
\n\u2022 Provide expert advice on procurement, risk management, and cost-saving measures.
\n\u2022 Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and terms.
\n\u2022 Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents.\n
\n\u2022 Monitor and control costs throughout the project, including forecasting and identifying cost-saving opportunities.\n

\nQualifications:<\/b>\n
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
\n\u2022 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying, project coordination, or technical supervision\u2014preferably within the construction or infrastructure sectors.\n
\n\u2022 Strong understanding of construction methodologies, industry standards, and regulatory frameworks.\n
\n\u2022 Experience in quantity takeoff, site measurement, and verification of executed works.\n
\n\u2022 Familiarity with building codes and service guidelines (e.g. NBC, ANSI\/ASHRAE for HVAC, LEED).\n
\n\u2022 Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP drawings using AutoCAD.\n
\n\u2022 Skilled in project documentation, reporting, and progress tracking.\n
\n\u2022 Working knowledge of contract procedures and documentation.\n
\n\u2022 Proficiency in tools\/software relevant to technical coordination and quantity verification.\n
\n\u2022 Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n
\n\u2022 Fluency in English is required; Greek is a plus.\n
